Issues We Work With
Our clients come to us with a wide range of experiences, but many share a common thread; years of feeling misunderstood, exhausted by masking, or struggling in ways that never quite made sense until they understood their own neurodivergence. We work with things like anxiety, trauma, burnout, identity, relationships, depression, and self-worth, as well as the specific challenges that come with being autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, or otherwise neurodivergent in a world not built for you. You don't need to arrive with a neat description of what's wrong. Most people just know something isn't working, and that's enough to start.
Anxiety is one of the most common things our clients bring, whether that's generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic, or the particular kind of overwhelm that comes from trying to function in environments that were never designed for neurodivergent people. Work related stress, burnout, and the exhaustion of masking in professional settings are things we understand deeply, both clinically and personally.
We are a team of neurodivergent therapists but neurodivergence isn't one thing, and neither are we. Between us we bring different experiences, different specialisms, and different ways of working, because there is no single right way to be human. Many of us know what it is to feel othered, to have had to fight to be understood, or to have spent years wondering why everything felt harder than it was supposed to. That lived experience sits alongside our professional training and shapes how we show up for our clients. We are also a proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming practice, several of our therapists have specific experience in this area and everyone here works from a place of genuine respect for identity in all its forms.
If you're unsure whether we can help with something specific, please just ask, we would be delighted to talk to you about it.

How to Work With Us
We work online with clients from all around the UK and worldwide (please do let us know if you are outside of the UK to make sure we can work with you).
Simply complete our contact form and let us know a bit about you, why you are looking for counselling and who you would like to work with.
Not sure which therapist would be best for you? No problem, let us know that and Lorraine will guide you to the right therapist for you.
You can work longer term or short term with us, you can have the same regular session or work more flexibly. Let us know what you need and we will do our best to meet that!
The benefit of working with a practice like ours is you know you are in good hands.
You can easily switch therapist if you need to; you can recommend the practice to your child or partner without a conflict of interest; and you can have couples counselling with one therapist and see their colleague for individual work.
You can always contact Lorraine if you aren't happy or comfortable with the service you have received.
We are here for you.
