Lorraine has intentionally moved toward focused, time limited EMDR work, usually 6 to 12 sessions, rather than longer term therapy. This means you get specialist trauma processing with an experienced neurodivergent therapist, and if you want continued support afterwards, you're already part of the How to be Human community and can work with one of the team.
You can also come to Lorraine for EMDR after working with one of our neurodivergent informed counsellors, the relational work you do with them can be brilliant preparation for trauma processing.

Bio
Outside of being a psychotherapist, I am a mum, step mum, wife and dog mum! I love reading, audio books, podcasts, collecting crystals and being in nature. I think humour is a big healer and believe a strong relationship is key for therapy. I'm also a total geek that loves a spreadsheet, marketing, politics and generally learning about the human condition! I'm passionate about fairness and justice. I work with a lot of people who have experienced being othered for various reasons so it's really important to me that my clients know they are safe with me.
